Well, I did manage to finish(?) this assignment. But I am befuddled. Why couldn't I just add the blogs I want to follow to my blogspot account? Why do I have to have 2 accounts ... one at google reader and the other at blogspot.com? I hope someone can explain this to me. Thanks.
Additionally, I found the instructions very confusing.

Hmm. Well, Kay, from a non-tech professional point-of-view, all I can suggest is that Blogspot (Blogger) is a program that allows you to create blogs, while GoogleReader allows you to aggregate and read them. You're right; I don't see any way on Blogger to read blogs that you haven't created yourself. I know it's a pain, but it's sort of like the difference between your kitchen and a restaurant -- in your kitchen, you can create and eat whatever you want, while in a restaurant you can eat a huge variety of things you didn't make, but you can't eat anything you did make. That's a sort of lame analogy, but that's the closest I can get.
Sorry about the confusing instructions. Can you tell me exactly what gave you the trouble?
